MAY & JUNE 2017
THANK YOU
Welcome to the final newsletter of the season. It is only appropriate for me to open this month's edition by saying thank you to each and every one of you for your support this year.

The team have had an amazing season, finishing second in the Premier League thus qualifying for the group stages of the Champions League, accumulating a record points haul and finishing above Arsenal for the first time in 22 years in the process.

We have also had an amazing year. With a record number of members, some huge turnouts at the Auckland headquarters over the course of the season and successfully hosting our second major legends night with Graham Roberts in April. That event raised almost $5,000 for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of New Zealand, and almost $2,000 for Graham's charity, Centre Algarve. A remarkable achievement. Thank you.

Next year however, we would like to go a little further and (re)establish a network across the country, in order to ensure that we do not become too Auckland centric. Initial discussions will be had over staging a third legends event in the upcoming season, which we will explore hosting in two locations, while also re-establishing the 'National' in either Wellington or Queenstown in the Summer.

We would also like to thank AIA New Zealand for supporting our legends night. Without AIA's support, we simply could not have brought Graham Roberts to New Zealand. You will have seen that today, Tottenham Hotspur and AIA have agreed to extend their partnership until 2021/22, and we sincerely hope that we can continue to work with them, to support more events like ours in the future.

Finally, Hamish Girvan and James Warren have been doing a cracking job with posting interesting updates on our social media pages (interspersed with some of my own holiday snaps from WHL of course!), so thanks to those fellas! Keep up the good work.
Stay safe over the winter, and keep an eye out for an e-mail coming your way in the coming weeks for membership renewals.
Cheers,
Paul

THANK YOU
AN EVENING WITH GRAHAM ROBERTS
Our evening with Graham Roberts was a huge success, and an enjoyable evening for all concerned.

We have uploaded some our our photos from the night (that can be found by clicking here) and a little highlight reel on the KiwiSpurs TV section of the homepage.

We will also be inducting Graham into our KiwiSpurs Hall Of Fame and inviting Graham to be an ambassador for our club.

Any feedback on the event is welcomed, feel free to drop us a line at paul@thfc.co.nz
2017/18 MEMBERSHIP
We will be contacting all current and lapsed members with details of membership for the upcoming season. This will include a tentative schedule of events for the season (excluding Match Day meetings of course). Please keep an eye peeled for an e-mail from us. However, we do want your feedback to ensure the package is as valuable as possible, so get in touch if you have any thoughts!
END OF SEASON P*SS UP
The season is over. That means there is only one thing to do. Drag it out by a week and have a final meeting to share our thoughts and feelings on what has been a great year, over a pint.

If you are in Auckland on Sunday June 4th, you will find us The Fox, in the Viaduct from 8pm. This will be preceded by a curry at Tiffin (598 New North Rd, Kingsland, Auckland 1021) from 7pm. If you'd like to join us for that meal, please let us know ASAP so we can book an appropriately sized table!
Congratulations to Justin Gauci, newly crowned KiwiSpurs Fantasy Premier League Champion for 2017.

We have conducted a full inquiry and can confirm that Justin did not use a single Gooner throughout the season, thus his title can not be disputed as the mighty Wanyama's In Pajamas FC have therefore not breached our rules!

Well done mate. A Pint has your name on it at the EOS Beer-Up!
KIWISPURS FANTASY FOOTBALL
KIWISPURS TV
While we have no intention of mimicking the long-standing joke that is Arsenal Fan TV, we have launched our very own KiwiSpurs TV.

This will be housed on the site, and will essentially just be snippets of content updated occasionally that demonstrate what we do, week in week out, being Spurs fans on this side of the world. It will be crudely pieced together, as we aren't professionals, but we hope its mildly entertaining nonetheless. You can see our first efforts on the homepage, with our farewell to White Hart Lane that we captured on our recent visit to the Supporters Club Awards Day and the final game at The Lane, versus Manchester United. We've also thrown up some footage of Graham Robert's recent visit to NZ.

As always, your contributions to this are only too welcome!
